Asian Paradise flycatchers are simply beautiful. Bird watchers especially like watching the male birds gliding gracefully through a forest with their long white streamers. Those extremely long ribbon make these birds unmistakable. The beautiful ribbon seems to affect sexual selection with females choosing their mates by the length of the tail. These summer visitor birds arrive in Kathmandu in end of March and stay until July then back to winter ground.
